Stainless steel furniture

The latest evolution in door furniture is now supplied on Door-Stop doors, as standard. With the external furniture now manufactured from 304-grade stainless steel, you can now give your customers a 10-year anti-corrosion guarantee, and because this is the same grade of material used for making sinks, it's a guarantee that you won't expect to use!

Our stainless style extends to polished gold, chrome and black finishes on handles, letter plates, knockers and numerals. The furniture fitted to the inside of the door is the same colour and manufactured with a zinc PVD finish. The lever/lever and lever/pad handles incorporate a spring cassette to eliminate any dropping and has been tested to 50,000 cycles, whilst the urn knocker is face fixed to remove the need for fixings on the inside of the door.

The letter plate opens to 180 degrees and even the return spring is stainless steel which was cycle tested to 100,000 operations. The external flap houses a peripheral seal that also forms a full thermal and acoustic barrier.

Yale TS007 3* handle/cylinder combination

Yale’s Superior cylinder and Platinum handle combination are accredited with the coveted TS007 3* BSI Kitemark - the most secure available for composite doors and locks, introduced by the Door and Hardware Federation with the GGF as an answer to vulnerable cylinders.

The Platinum handle is available in PVD polished chrome and polished gold which are corrosion resistant and made of marine-grade stainless steel - the highest available. The cylinder is Kitemarked to TS007 1* security and the armoured Platinum handle to TS007 2*, giving the door/lock combination the 3* standard.

Fab & Fix furniture

The Fab & Fix ‘Hardex’ finish is extremely resilient. The electro colour finishes are applied to every part of the elegant and conventionally styled furniture range, including the 2D adjustable flag hinge. Their Horizon multi-point door lock is operated by a UAP cylinder and cylinder guard.

As well as offering eight locking options you can now choose one of five cylinders to go with the lock of your choice – the Ultion cylinder, Avocet ABS cylinder, Yale Platinum, Superior & KM cylinders. Ultion 3* Plus

The Ultion cylinder is one of the most secure on the market - so much so in fact that no test has beaten it. The cylinder has passed all major British standards test for security without the need for cylinder protectors or extra secure door handles. These tests include the highest TS007 standard (3 star) and the extended Sold Secure Diamond test, which is more rigorous and designed by the Master Locksmith Association.

Now with Double Lockdown mode

Double Lockdown mode offers even more snap protection. Ultion's trademark Lockdown Mode just got stronger, Ultion WXM houses two hardened SS630 attack pins that fire when an attack is detected.

The Ultion Lockdown Mode detects forced entry and activates an attack lock directly into the central cam. Even if the most determined intruder gets past Ultion’s two sacrificial sections he won’t get to the attack lock because it is protected deep inside a solid molybdenum core and secured with a dedicated retaining pin.

The ABS (Avocet Break Secure) euro-cylinder lock has been installed in police and council target hardening projects to effectively beat the burglar. 10,000 ABS Diamond grade locks were fitted to vulnerable victim’s homes to stop burglars continually breaking in via standard euro cylinder locks

The ABS lock will quickly replace existing euro cylinder locks to immediately protect your door and keep your home secured against lock snapping.

ABS has the highest rating for a euro cylinder lock with a 3-star British Kitemark and the ultimate Sold Secure Diamond standard. This means that ABS is a snap secure solution without the need for back up from expensive TS007 2 star rated security handles or guards.

Yale Cylinder Options

Door-Stop now offers a comprehensive range of Yale cylinders suitable for all applications and security needs. The Platinum 3 Star cylinder has been independently tested by BSI to be awarded the British Kitemarked TS007:2014 3 star accreditation. TS007 is a standard developed in response to concerns over cylinder attacks. The standard can be achieved by combining a 1-star cylinder with a 2-star security door furniture or using a stand-alone 3-star cylinder. The Platinum series cylinder is approved to TS007 3 stars and does not require any additional security furniture. The Yale Platinum 3 Star cylinder has a sacrificial front section and provides superior strength against known attack methods.

The Yale Superior TS007 1 Star cylinder has been subjected to extensive tests and is one of the most secure cylinders on the market. It's anti-bump, drill, pick, tamper, torque, and force resistant. It will withstand attempts to saw, wrench, corrode, or even burn it out - in fact, it can resist anything the most determined burglar can throw at it.

The Yale KM cylinder offers British Kitemarked TS007 1 star security and is Secured by Design approved. The Yale KM cylinder offers a high level of security and attack protection. 

Lock Options

We offer eight lock mechanism options - the Yale Lockmaster, ERA Vectis, Winkhaus Trulock and AV2 "Slam Lock", the Yale YS170, the Fab n Fix Haven, and the Avocet Affinity lock. And now you get the GU Slam Lock on all FD30s fire doors and any door supplied with hardware from our extensive Contemporary Range.

Yale Lockmaster lock

The Lockmaster is a multi-point lock that has been designed, developed, and tested in the UK to deliver the highest levels of performance, so installers can offer security and peace of mind to homeowners.

With Secured by Design accreditation, the Lockmaster features a combination of hooks and anti-lift bolts for greater security.

BBA certified for security, performance and corrosion resistance, the Lockmaster comes with a 10-year guarantee, while its 15-year service history proves a high level of reliability.

The Lockmaster is fully compatible with the Yale Conexis - also available from Door-Stop - which allows homeowners access their property without a key, using a remote fob or a mobile phone, the Lockmaster features a combination of hooks and anti-lift bolts for greater security.

Winkhaus AV2 "Slam Lock"

The 'Slam Lock' option changes the way that doors work. In the past, the hooks on doors with multipoint locks engage by having to lift the handle. With a Slam Lock, the hooks engage the moment the door is closed. Using the Winkhaus AV2 system, this option gives your customer the peace of mind that if the door is closed, the hooks are engaged. To bolt the door from the inside the homeowner simply turns the key. From the outside, the handle is fixed and the door hooks open by turning the key.

ERA Vectis cylinder-free lock

The ERA cylinder free lock is a high-security option. With a traditional mortice key, the door doesn’t need a euro cylinder because the key engages directly with the multi-point lock. No cylinder means no risk of the door being opened by a burglar snapping, bumping or manipulating the cylinder.

The lock edge of the door is then completely wrapped in a 3mm powder coated aluminium strip, top to bottom and front to back creating a seamless single finish.

Combine the lack of cylinder with the patented interface between the mortice mechanism and the multipoint lock, the hardened steel anti-drill plate and the 2 opposing hook lock configuration - Door-Stop doors with this lock are PAS024 accredited and offers the same level of protection as doors supplied with TS 007 3 Star cylinder and handle combinations. Doors with the Fab n Fix or new stainless steel furniture ranges can be built using the ERA mortice lock for no difference in price, and are supplied with 3 traditional mortice keys as standard.
