From 15 June 2022, all new homes must produce 30% less carbon dioxide emissions than current standards. The Building Regulations also include new standards to reduce energy use and carbon emissions during home improvements.
We're pleased to confirm that our GRP doorset range meet the new standards, requiring doors fitted in new homes to achieve U-values of 1.6W/(m2.K) and 1.4 W/(m2.K) in existing dwellings.
The current 1.8W/(m2.K) U-Value standard for timber doors will remain until June 15th 2023. Our Solid Core Range meet the standards for 2022, we are investing now to ensure we make the necessary adjustments to the range ahead of time.
All U-Value assurances are based on complete doorsets purchased from Door-Stop.
